Omg help my skin is killing me D:?

So I bought the clinique acne solutions thing and I used it everyday since I bought it and my skin is really really dry how can I prevent this and still keep using the clinique acne solutions thing. Can putting petroleum jelly everynight after washing my face with it prevent the dryness?
