Found a weird rock.. wanna know what it is?

i live in southern indiana in the country and i found this really weird rock earlier. Its like a pale yellow-brown color and kind of looks like a really light colored asteroid or something... Anyway i hit it with a hammer to see what the inside looked like and it was hollow with clear crystals all inside it?? Anybody know what it could be? It looks kind of like quartz but idk what the hell it is..
