What is the best style dress to wear with heels that have an ankle strap?

I just bought these fabulous shoes-- they are bright pink with about a 4.5" stiletto heel, strappy criss-crossing over the toes and a strappy cuff around the ankle. I am pretty tall, so I am fairly certain that I can pull off the ankle straps... I just know that I need the right silhouette dress, and was hoping for some good suggestions. I can sew, so if I don't find what I'm looking for in a store, I can make it myself... just not sure. Would an above-the-knee be best? Or maybe an asymmetrical dress- longer in the back, open in the front? Would love some opinions! I would like to wear these shoes to a wedding coming up.
