Whywould anyone willingly go away with someone who abused them?

Yes the wud & they have. Many abuse victims have poor self esteem and believe they are worthy of criticism and abuse. They dont view their abuser as bad, as they believe thats how they SHOULD and WILL be treated by others anyways.
