How to get back to where things were?

i just watched criss angel's mindfreak where he does this pose with left and right arm wide open and loudly say "mindfreak" while turning his body 360 degrees..i came to work today and did exactly that in front of one of my co-workers, and he was suddenly depressed with his palm over his face and he said he aint talkin to me no more...i dont get it. is there any reason it is not acceptable or sumthinn plz helpp
