Is it weird to wear wigs? Where can i get 20-30 dollar human hair wigs?

I got a couple of wigs recently and people were like why have you bought a wig. Then they saw what they looked like and were like wow. I put a picture of one on my facebook and they thought i'd dyed my hair!
