Lip piercing question?

I am gettig my lip pierced at home no matter what so don't say "dnt do it,it's dangerous" or something else stupid like that. I have a clamp,numbing cream, hollow sterilized needle, and gloves. I was just wondering whether I should have a friend that had never pierced anything before do it for me or if I should just do it myself. I did my right lip like 6months ago and I'm going for my left side so I can have snakebites.
